Antonia Kao is an independent documentary photographer based in the San Francisco Bay Area who is available for assignment. She began her career as a freelance print journalist, publishing in various publications, including The New York Times and Girlfriends Magazine. In the mid-1990s, she transitioned to filmmaking, directing, producing, and shooting films that have won awards and screened internationally. Projects she has worked on have broadcast on PBS, Discovery Health, MTV, LOGO, and TLC. It was while working in motion picture that she realized she often thinks in still images and loves the frozen moment. So, for the past few years, she has focused on digital still photography and her other passion, practicing and teaching yoga. Antonia holds an MFA in Film and Television Production from USC Graduate School of Cinema-TV (2001) and a BA in English and Women's Studies from Wellesley College (1994). www.divine-eye.com
